cefr
The CEFR (Common European Framework Reference) is the creation of a common and unified approach to languages by setting the basis of the teaching, the different levels, their contents and the ensuing achievements.
The CEFR organizes languages proficiency in 6 different levels (covering different linguistic needs) in order to create a common scheme used globally and easily identified worldwide to prove one proficiency in a foreign language.
Find out more on the courses I offer for every level.
levels
The CEFR scheme includes 6 different levels: A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2 (pre A1 introduced in 2018) that are grouped in three major broader levels: basic user (A1 and A2), independent user (B1 and B2) and proficiency user (C1 and C2).
The levels are defined by abilities that a student has to prove to master in order to obtain such level, covering all linguistic and socio-linguistic aspects.
Find more details on the levels for ITALIAN HERE and for FRENCH HERE and feel free to reach out to me to discover more on your specific level.
content
One of the main strengths of the CEFR scheme is that it covers fully all linguistic abilities that have to be worked during all classes in order to achieve a level:
-
RECEPTION - LISTENING AND READING
-
WRITTEN PRODUCTION
-
SPOKEN INTERACTION AND PRODUCTION
All of them have to be employed on a regular basis since they are intertwined to achieve the proficiency of a determinate level.
exams
In order to certify a specific levels, official cultural and linguistic entities in different countries have developed an international examination system that allows students to receive a certification crediting their specific knowledge.
